Wiki the cat loves Christmas. Batting the ornaments, basking in the blinking lights -- he even helps choose the tree each year!
But this year there's trouble in Wiki's yuletide paradise when his mistress Cary decides to go skiing in Colorado instead of staying snug at home with him in Kansas City, Missouri. To derail her plans, Wiki escapes to the Christmas tree lot where he's sure Cary will find him.
He doesn't count on a blizzard or a huge German shepherd with a handsome and stubborn master named Ben. All three conspire to trap Wiki on the lot. For his own good, of course.
Cary is frantic, searching everywhere for Wiki -- everywhere except the Christmas tree lot where Wiki waits to be saved, and Zeus' master waits to sweep Cary off her feet.

Well, most of the books I purchased were given as gifts. Feedback was good and all enjoyed reading.
This story was so much fun I couldn't put it down. It is a short story but very well written. It is a must for all animal lovers (but especially if you are the parent of a cat). Lots of humor and a very clean read. I will watch for everything Ms.Michaels writes.

A romance that sneaks up on you at the end. The story presents a Siamese puss loveable and vexing in his Siameseness. He turns into a unaware cupid bringing the boy and girl together. Read this story. It's excellent and gripping as you worry if Wiki will get home to his mistress.
Great story of the animal mind that anyone who's loved an animal knows well. The cat personality was captured very well. Great story line and loved reading every second of it. I didn't want the story to end. I wanted to read about them developing their family and how their life changed with the farm vs the city. So many great relationships between the characters, so much love in this book.
Short story for all ages. Kitty gets "lost" on purpose but no real violence or hurt animals for all us sensitive to that. Cute kitty, dog and spider in the story. Mabie read some at bedtime a week before Christmas. Or in classroom.
"The Cat Before Christmas" is a fun read with a cat and his antics, his caretaker Cary, her friends, family and work as a teacher in a high-end private school. Add a little romance and you have a funny novella that kick-starts your thinking about the holidays and what is truly important.
I loved the story and recommend it to all animals lovers . . . and those who have a sentimental place in their hearts about Christmas and the traditions we hold dear.
